Hi, I’m Joshiua.
I’ve spent over 16 years building stories through cameras, lights, and creative systems. From live broadcast television to healthcare campaigns, enterprise brands, and government-scale video platforms, my career has lived at the intersection of creativity and execution.
I’m a Creative Director by trade, but at heart I’m a problem solver.
Throughout my career, I kept seeing the same challenge: talented creators slowed down by complicated tools and expensive trial-and-error. Lighting especially felt harder than it needed to be. So instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, I started building the tool I wished existed.
That became Aro.
I’m not a traditional tech founder. I’m a creator building for creators. Every decision behind Aro comes from real production experience, real deadlines, and real creative pressure.
My goal is simple:
Give photographers and filmmakers the confidence to create cinematic work faster, smarter, and with less friction.
